How can I book a tour?

Just follow these simple steps on our website:

  • Select the tour you’re interested in.
  • Choose the number of participants.
  • Choose the number of hours.
  • Pick your desired date.
  • Review the Summary and click ‘Checkout.’
  • Fill in your Contact Details 
  • Pay the Full Amount 
  • Once we receive your payment, your booking will be confirmed.

Where does my tour start and end?

We offer convenient pick-up and drop-off services for all travelers in Mariehamn. Whether you’re staying at a hotel, arriving on a cruise ship, or flying into the airport, we’ve got you covered. Can I customize my itinerary?

Absolutely! Since our tours are private, we can be flexible and tailor the itinerary to suit your preferences. Before booking, just let us know your requests, and we’ll create a personalized itinerary based on your wishes.

If you wish to make any changes during the tour, that’s no problem. However, please remember that if the changes involve additional time, distance, or cost, our guide will need to approve, and extra fees might be applied accordingly. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences throughout the tour!

Can children participate in a private tour?

Absolutely! We warmly welcome children to join our private tours. We provide children’s seats for free when requested at least 14 days before the tour starts. Please note that there is no specific discount for children, as our pricing is based on the vehicle and the guide/driver’s time rather than a per-person rate. We want the whole family to enjoy the experience, and we’ll make sure everyone is comfortable and safe throughout the tour!

Can I bring my wheelchair on a tour?

Absolutely! If you have a foldable wheelchair or mobility scooter, it will fit in the trunk of our standard car. Please keep in mind that you’ll need assistance from your travel companion to get in and out of the car. We want to ensure your comfort and accessibility during the tour, so feel free to bring your wheelchair along!

Can I bring my luggage on the tour?

Of course! We have ample space for luggage in all our vehicles:

  • Standard car: Fits 4 large check-in suitcases and 4 carry-ons.
  • Minivan: Accommodates 8 large check-in suitcases and 8 carry-ons.

    You can travel comfortably with all your belongings during the tour. Just let us know in advance so we can ensure everything is well-organized for your journey!

Who can I talk to if I have a complaint?

Please feel free to discuss your concerns directly with your tour guide first, as they can often address and resolve any issues.

If, for any reason, your complaint cannot be resolved by the tour guide, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We take all feedback seriously and aim to handle it professionally. Our priority is to ensure that everyone has a fantastic experience with us. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we’ll do our best to address your concerns promptly.

Can I join a tour alone?

Absolutely! Even if you’re traveling solo, you can still enjoy our tours. You have the option to book a private tour, where you’ll have a dedicated guide just for yourself. Our friendly guides are here to make your experience unforgettable, and they’ll be your newest best friend during the tour! 

How are your private tours priced?

Our private tours are priced based on the duration of the tour. You pay a flat rate per hour, which means the cost remains the same regardless of the number of people in your group. Additionally, we offer optional add-ons, such as skip-the-line tickets, reserved activities, or a delightful picnic, at an extra price per person. 

How can I pay for the tour?

For online bookings, we offer secure payment options through Stripe, allowing you to pay conveniently with your credit card. To secure your booking, the full payment must be received at least 14 days prior to the tour. This ensures a smooth and hassle-free experience for you, so you can focus on enjoying your upcoming adventure with us!

Can I pay in USD?

As a Finnish Tour Operator based on Åland, we charge in our local currency, which is Euro. We want to ensure a seamless payment process for all our customers, and accepting payments in Euro helps us provide efficient service and consistent pricing.

What is your cancellation policy?

PAYMENT
To secure your booking and ensure a seamless experience, we kindly ask you to make the full payment for the tour at least 14 days before your scheduled date. 

CANCELLATION
Once the payment is received and the tour is confirmed, the following cancellation policy will be in effect:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days prior to departure: Full refund.
  • Cancellation between 5 to 14 days prior to departure: Up to 50% refund of the total price.
  • Cancellation less than 5 days prior to departure: No refund will be provided.

    Please note that a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking amount will be charged. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, regardless of the cancellation date.

When will I receive my refund and how will it be refunded

Refunds will be paid to your bank account or PayPal account. Please be aware that we do not cover any additional fees charged by banks for the transfers. The processing time for refunds may take up to 30 days. If you have not received your refund within this period, please don’t hesitate to contact us

Who will be our private guide?

About 1-2 weeks before your tour’s scheduled date, we will send you an email introducing your private guide. In the email, you will find the guide’s name and cellphone number, so you can quickly contact them if needed on the day of your tour. Rest assured, your guide will also have your name and cellphone number for smooth communication and a personalized experience throughout the tour. 

Do we tip our guide?

Our guides are compensated fairly for their time and excellent service. Tipping is not mandatory. However, if you feel that your guide has provided exceptional service and you wish to express your appreciation, leaving a gratuity is always a thoughtful way to say “Thank you.” We welcome guests from diverse cultures, where tipping customs may vary, so the decision to give gratuity or not is entirely up to our guests. 

Are your guides licensed tour guides?

Absolutely! All our guides are licensed professionals who excel in their field. With years of experience in guiding Finnish and international tourists, they are experts at what they do.

Is the tour guide also our driver?

Yes, indeed! Your tour guide will also be your skilled driver throughout the journey. All our guides are licensed to drive up to eight people, and we offer both standard cars and minivans for your comfort and convenience. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the tour as your guide takes care of everything for you!

Can I order a transfer service from you?

Absolutely! You can request a transfer service from us for an additional fee. Just reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to provide you with more details and make the necessary arrangements.
