Your journey begins in Mariehamn, the capital of Åland. Here you meet your guide and pick up rental bikes. From here, you’ll follow a route through picturesque countryside and breathtaking coastlines. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to stop, take in the sights, and learn about Ålands culture and history from your local guide.
Once you reach Järsö, you’ll have the chance to relax and unwind at the Stickstugan Cafe, continue to the Järsö nature trail, or swim in the sea. After enjoying yourself in Järsö, you’ll cycle back towards Mariehamn.
Upon your wish, the guide can also arrange a picnic along the way, which will give you an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal in a beautiful outdoor setting. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Dress according to the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
We suggest bringing your own water bottle and some snacks in case you get hungry during the activity. It would also be beneficial to have a few bandages on hand, just in case.

The service does not include food and drinks
You can order a picnic with local products for €20 per person.
We strongly recommended all travelers purchase adequate cancellation insurance, and travel insurance for participation in any of Åland Tours tours and/or expeditions.

It is travelers’ responsibility to ensure your fitness level is appropriate for the activities and tours you book with us.
GENERAL
For safety reasons, Åland Tours reserves the right to cancel tours in bad or stormy weather.
DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT
After confirming your satisfaction with the itinerary, we will request a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total quoted tour price to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 14 days prior to the first service date.
CANCELLATION
The tour is considered confirmed when we have received a deposit or part deposit. After this point the following cancellation fees apply:
More than 14 days prior to departure – Full refund except for the 20% deposit
From 5 to 14 days prior to departure – Refund up to 50% of the total price
Less than 5 days prior to departure – No refund
